30TH ANNIVERSARY OF THE ARCH OF LIGHT

July 2019

Already 30 years ago, for the 20th anniversary of the man's first step on the moon, I drew the Arch of Light, one of the five sailing ships of a fantastic race from Earth to Moon, imagined by the CNES engineer Guy Pignolet. This spacecraft (500-meter diameter), was to be driven by solar winds. With its four sails and central ring, it could be visible from the Earth.
